OVERVIEWThe Tiberon Gambit is a casual all-day event taking place at Bristol Independent
Gaming on Sunday 8th December, where four games of onepagerules’ Grimdark
Future following a narrative story-line will be played. The event is expected to run
between 10am - 5pm. Please aim to arrive by 9:30am to make organising
easier! Prior to the event, players will be randomly assigned a syndicate which is the
team they represent for the day. Victories in each game will earn points for the
winning syndicate as well as shaping the unfolding story throughout the day. There
will be some prizes for the winning syndicates!
This event aims to be relaxed and casual, welcoming players of all experience and
skill levels. Don’t worry if you’ve not played much before (or at all), just bring some
models and have some fun! Painted models are encouraged but not a requirement,
just ensure they are on a suitable base.
Attendees are encouraged to come up with a theme and/or a name for their army,
how they fit into their assigned syndicate, as well as a name for some key figures such
as heroes or elite units/vehicles. This isn’t strictly necessary, but will provide some
fun narrative flair to the story between games!

Parking is available outside as well as along the road of the estate. Upon arriving at
the door, please press the bottom buzzer labelled BRISTOL INDEPENDENT
GAMING.
You may wish to bring money for hot food, snacks, or drinks, all which are provided
by the venue (including homemade bacon cheese burgers, veggie chilli, and cheese
toasties.). Please note that food and drinks from outside the premises are not
permitted. There is also a shop for models and hobby products you may wish to
browse during breaks and down times, so prepare your wallet accordingly!
WHAT TO BRING
You will need to bring:
• A 2000pts Grimdark Future army, as made in the Army Forge app or website with
Force Organisation enabled and no warnings given. You may use any models you
like but please make a reasonable effort to accurately portray a unit’s stats. (e.g.
Your Battle Brother Squad models don’t need to be wielding exact weapon
options, but those with weapon option upgrades should be easily identifiable.
Similarly, monsters and vehicles don’t need to be exactly as they appear on the
table, but should be of reasonable size and shape. Avoid representing a Tough((12)
unit with a single infantry model!)
• Two printed copies of your list; one for yourself and one for your opponent’s
reference.
• Tape measures, dice, and other game aids you require.
• Some tokens representing objectives. These can be anything from cardboard chits
and coloured dice to flags and special objective models.
ALLOWED ARMIES
• Any of the armies from the OPR Official Books tab in Army Forge with the
exception of Titan Lords. This exclusion is because Titan Lords as a faction
significantly changes the feel of the game especially at 2000pts.
• Armies from the ‘Official Partners’ and ‘Star Creators’ sections in the Creators tab
in Army Forge that are marked with the Balanced flag and NOT marked with the
Custom Rules flag. This is for simplicity’s sake as custom rules cannot be verified
as balanced and costed appropriately.
Please note that for simplicity’s sake, combined armies are not allowed for the event;
keep to a single army book.
SIGN UP
Tickets to the event cost £15, payable to [email protected]. Please pay as
early as possible to confirm your attendance and guarantee yourself a slot. Event is
limited to 20 slots, so be quick!
Once you have paid, please email your name and a copy of your list (either pdf or an
Army Forge link created with the Share Link button) to [email protected].
Sending this email is essential so syndicates can be organised and closer to the date
your assigned syndicate can be revealed to you. In addition to this, you will be sent a
copy of the event schedule and the scenarios being played. Read the scenarios
carefully; while you can’t change your lists after seeing them, they can be vital to
helping you plan your tactics and strategies!
