Good Rockin on a Friday Night is always expected from the Rockabilly Romancer, J-Mo On The Beat and The J-Lighters, but tonight is going to be like nothing you've seen from these cats! Before The J-Lighters hits the stage, a special guest all the way from Memphis, Tennessee will start things off, Mr. Broken Telephone himself, Wyly Bigger!!! Hailing from Saint Paul, Minnesota, Jamie’s music effortlessly blends the classic 50s and 60s vibes with contemporary rock and pop elements, creating a unique and captivating sound. Influenced by legendary artists such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Cliff Richard, and Billy Fury, Jamie’s musical journey began with dancing as a kid, eventually blossoming into a fervent desire to become a music artist during his high school years.
With the unwavering support of his talented backing band, The J-Lighters, who skillfully capture the essence of the 50s sound, Jamie confidently ventures into the music scene, performing throughout the Twin Cities with many other upcoming artists such as Colin Bracewell, Bloodline, Kinda Fonda Wanda, and more.
Growing up along the edge of the murky waters of the Mississippi River, it is no surprise Wyly Bigger chose the path of blues and rock and roll music. Hailing from Marion, Arkansas, just across the water from Memphis, Tennessee, Wyly started his journey on the piano at only four years old, teaching himself songs by ear and following in the footsteps of those from all over the southern delta. Spending a lot of his time between Memphis and Clarksdale, Mississippi, Wyly learned the blues from several mentors, including Pinetop Perkins and Bob Margolin. At age 26, he’s now been taking over the Memphis music scene, keeping the spirit of rock n’ roll alive through the walls of Earnestine and Hazel’s, Beale Street clubs, Cooper-Young hot-spots, and many other local dives.
