Clutch pearls y’all – it’s Tall Paul. The man needs no introduction but deserves one so here we go. Having spent the last THIRTY-FIVE years pioneering dance music, Paul Newman can stand proud as one of the purveyors of the hard house sound and a champion of technical DJing. Kicking off his DJing career at the legendary London club Turnmills, Paul became intrinsically linked with the growing popularity of House through the 90s. He gained notoriety as the UK's original superstar DJ (without the ego) playing Cream, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, and Ministry of Sound.
As a producer, under the moniker CAMISRA, Paul hit the Top 5 UK chart with ‘Let Me Show You’ – which had a strong revival in 2023 – and mixed numerous Ministry of Sound Renowned compilations, including The Annual 2000. He is one of the greatest from the never-to-be-forgotten Era of Clubbing.
Most recently he joined us on the Ministry of Sound Testament lineup and anyone in that room will attest – he was the highlight.
Bringing with him a box full of upfront sounds and hard-to-find records that guarantee complete chaos on the dancefloor.
