About the Show
We’ve got diamonds to steal and thieves to catch. Join us at Mike’s Badhuistheater on Thursday, 19 November for a one-night-only comedy mashup!
Kicking things off: stand-up comedy from local rock star Katie O’Reilly! Then the students of Improv Your Dutch, taught by Jenny Hasenack, take the stage and show what they’ve learned, playing improv games while speaking only in Nederlands. As you’d expect, the results will be hilarious, delightful, and ungrammatical.
Then it’s One Last Job: The Improvised Heist. Kevin Miller’s students have learned the essential elements of an improvised play: multiple storylines, character archetypes, first-person monologues. And they’ve studied it all through the lens of the heist genre, from the planning stages right up until It All Goes Wrong. Tonight is their graduation showcase, where we find out if the crew can pull off the theft of the century.
It’s a proper Thursday night of entertainment and tickets are just €10. Are you in or out?
