The Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) is ecstatic to welcome a fantastic 8 piece band of some of our country’s finest musicians to our stage on Thursday July 4th! One King, will be hitting our stage and ready to bring some incredible R&B, Soul and a whole lot of Motown! The show starts at 8pm!One King is a compilation of seasoned ex-pro players and young up and comers all with a passion for performing live Rhythm & Blues, covering the musical stylings of greats such as James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Tower of Power, Average White Band, Brand New Heavies and more, much more.
They are an 8 piece ensemble featuring Bass, Drums, Guitar, Keyboards, Trumpet, Saxaphone, a Male and Female vocalists with strong vocal harmonies and a ‘can’t sit still’ rhythm section.
