Filipe Moreno is a Brazilian bassist and composer from Salvador known for expanding the expressive possibilities of the acoustic bass. Blending remarkable technique with deep musical sensitivity, he creates rich soundscapes where melody, rhythm, and harmony emerge from a single instrument. Having released several acclaimed recordings, including the ensemble albums Meu Tabuleiro (2015) and Memórias (2019), as well as a self-titled solo album, Moreno has established himself as one of Brazil’s most compelling contemporary bass players.
