dj. flugvel og geimskip (aka Airplane & Spaceship) is the one-person orchestra of Steinunn Hardardottir that draws influences from a thousand worlds. Defined as electronic horror-music with a space twist, the music is a mix of playful beats, cool bass, catchy melodies and joyfully off-kilter vocals. Her live performances are colourful and poetic and her music deals with alien worlds, mysteries, dreams and dangers of the night. Her concerts are like a strange blend of music, horror stories, poetry and theatre. The audience is left feeling like they are in a vivid dream or have travelled to outer space.
dj. flugvél og geimskip’s fourth record “Our Atlantis” (out January 18, 2019) is about your own personal choice to decide your own world view. Each and everyone of us lives to a large extent in the world we have created for ourselves, the music on the record ties together the vastness and splendour of space, the mysterious depths of the ocean, and the freedom to form our own opinions on the world around us. We are constantly surrounded by different ideas of what is the ideal way of life, but it is good to have in mind that we have a choice. Nobody can tell us what is “right”. No more that it is possible for anyone to tell us what Atlantis was “really” like. Is the tale of Atlantis a fantastical myth or historical legend? That is for you to decide!
In 2015 dj. flugvél og geimskip released her third album, Nótt á hafsbotni (Night at the Bottom of the Ocean), where the topic is the deep ocean. Her second album, Glamúr í geimnum (Glamour in Space) was all about the magic of space. Nótt á hafsbotni is a heavier album then Glamúr í geimnum but the beats are dancier and the melodies are influenced by Asian music, for example from India and Syria. The album won the Icelandic Kraumur Music Awards in 2015, was nominated as the Best Pop Album at the Icelandic Music Awards 2015 and received raving reviews from both Uncut and The Arts Desk amongst others.

Born in the mystical, nature-rich Tsuruoka, Japan, Shoko Igarashi is a bold sonic adventurer who fuses the ancient with the cutting edge. After refining her craft in Tokyo, New York, and Brussels, she’s become known for her seamless blend of jazz, electronic, and surreal influences. Her experimental work with the Tenori-on (Yamaha) shines through in "Project Tenori", a mesmerizing electro album where she transforms a minimalist instrument into a tool for expansive, genre-bending soundscapes. With roots in Japanese City-Pop, '70s jazz fusion, and anime soundtracks, Shoko’s upcoming album "Onsen Music" (winter 2024) promises to push the boundaries even further, inviting listeners into her eclectic, futuristic world.

Casimir Liberski, a Brussels-born pianist and sonic architect, stands at the intersection of progressive jazz and the avant-garde, sculpting music that feels as much like an art installation as a live performance. Behold, Extraterrestrial beings, our One Human Band Festival is back.
Super Concert asbl (and before its existence, Super Fourchette) is proud to announce that the most long awaited intergalactic showcase is here: One Human Band Festival.
Earth takes the first leap of faith and sets the ground for the first interplanet gathering, and what better reason could there be than presenting the best each species can create in the form of music?
What exactly are we talking about?
There’s one criteria: only solo projects!
You can expect a 2-day festival, filled with the most eclectic solo performances and music genres.
These One Human Band performances are held by, not a man, not a woman, but definitely a human, though with inhuman powers.
One Human Band creates what we call MUSIC, sometimes with the aid of some of the most exquisite technology, sometimes accompanied by the utmost rudimentary instruments, one things is for sure:
These humans, alone, put on the best show in the galaxy (or so we think: prove us wrong!)

For Whom?
Those open minded enough to embrace a festival, old enough to be childish and young enough to be mature.
With this in mind, our aim with our beloved public, we hope to invite amicable (and nice smelling) extraterrestrial creatures to also showcase their best One Being performance.
We checked with NASA and ESA, they are good with it ;)
We’ll be broadcasting this into space radio with our human body radiation, and spread the Love for Music.
