On September 12, 2026, wear blue: run to remember, Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB), and Fort Campbell MWR are coming together for a morning of remembrance, community, and purposeful movement as part of One Flag Forward.
In recognition of the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and our nation’s 250th anniversary, wear blue: run to remember and Team RWB are setting aside their individual colors to move together under one banner: the American flag.
Beginning September 12, one American flag will travel 250 miles from New York City to Washington, D.C. over five days, carried hand-to-hand by members of the military-connected community. At the same time, wear blue and Team RWB communities across the country will take purposeful steps alongside them through One Flag Forward shadow events.
Here at Fort Campbell, we’re honored to partner with Fort Campbell MWR’s Run for the Fallen to bring that mission to our community. 💙❤️

📍 South Complex | 5514 Air Assault Street, Fort Campbell
⏰ 6:30 AM – In-person registration
🔵 7:15 AM – wear blue Circle of Remembrance
🇺🇸 7:40 AM – Run for the Fallen opening program
🏃♀️ 8:00 AM – Run begins
We’ll begin with a wear blue Circle of Remembrance, where we will speak the names of our Fallen aloud and ensure their lives and service are remembered.
Following the ceremony, participants can join Fort Campbell MWR’s Run for the Fallen, choosing between the short or long non-competitive memorial route. We’ll use the course for our local One Flag Forward Shadow Run, moving together in solidarity with the flag making its journey from New York City to Washington, D.C.
You do not have to be a runner to participate. Run, walk, ruck, or simply join us for the Circle of Remembrance. Every step is an opportunity to remember, honor, and carry their legacies forward.
Fort Campbell MWR will also have food trucks and inflatables for the kids, making this a morning the entire family can be part of.
