One Day Retreat: Vajrasattva Meditation and Recitation Practice
with Geshe Tenley
(in-person and online)
Sunday, May 26, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
We are pleased to announce that Kurukulla Center resident teacher Geshe Tenley will lead a one day Vajrasattva Meditation and Recitation Practice on Sunday, May 26. This retreat is open to anyone looking to purify their negative karma - one does not need to have received any particular initiations to participate. It would be beneficial to memorize the long version of Vajrasattva mantra before the retreat begins, which can be accessed using the link below.
It is advised that you attend all sessions of the retreat. There will be a vegetarian lunch served (no eggs).
"If you want others to love you, you must first love others. If you benefit others, naturally they will benefit you. The cause and effect of karma is as simple as this. The Vajrasattva purification practice, which is more powerful than negative karma, can prevent you from experiencing the problems that negative karma would otherwise bring you. Thus, the practice of purification is one of the most important solutions to our problems and is extremely necessary, even for people who believe that we have only one life."
-- FPMT Spiritual Director Lama Zopa Rinpoche
