*This is the first of THREE sessions needed to complete the Training course. There is a Hands-On day (3/27), and a "Test-Out" day (4/10) as well.

Environment: A good environment starts with respect, good manners & courtesy. Kindly remember this at all times, since this is the key to keeping our atmosphere healthy. Treat your colleagues and the others as you would like to be treated. We are trusting all of you to maintain positive conversations at all times. Communication is a very important factor; please make sure you communicate with each other and inform the trainer if there is any confusion with the material and/or explanation. This is the time to ask questions; don’t keep them in your head. During hands-on activities, several people will work at the same time. Everyone will practice, and everyone will receive a treatment.

Engagement: To take advantage of our time together, consider the following:

• Mindset: Picture this—think of yourself as a cup, but instead of being filled to the brim, you're open and ready to soak up new stuff. During training, let's keep our minds wide open. That way, we'll scoop up all the cool new techniques while perfecting the ones we already know. Remember, the learning party never stops as long as we're game for it!
• Focus: Ever seen how kids learn like lightning bolts? It's all about being super into what they're doing! So, let's channel that kiddo energy and stay laser-focused during training. Trust me, it'll make learning way more fun and way quicker.
• Self-Study: Brace yourself for an info tsunami during training. But fear not, we'll surf through it together! Take time to digest all that knowledge, both during and after the sessions. Keep the learning vibes going strong by regularly diving back into your materials. And hey, don't rely solely on your memory or experience—keep the party alive with some good ol' study sessions!
• Practice: You know the saying—practice makes perfect! After the training wraps up, keep the groove going by practicing regularly. It's all about keeping your pro game strong. And hey, why not sprinkle in some volunteering? Not only will you learn more, but you'll also be spreading those good vibes to others on their journey.
