The time has come for the Southern Arizona Book Heroes annual Once Upon a Time Gala on Saturday September 27th 6-10pm at Casino Del Sol.The SABH Once Upon a Time Gala is not just a night of glamour; it’s a charitable initiative aimed at positively impacting our local community.
Proceeds from this spectacular event will be dedicated to helping continue to serve our law enforcement agencies with childrens books
"From violent acts, to car crashes, to an ever-growing opioid epidemic - Southern Arizona Book Heroes™ (SABH) joins the frontlines with first responders giving comfort to our youngest & most vulnerable citizens- the children in our community. SABH provides first responders, victim advocates, child centric organizations, with new children books, warm bundles (which includes gloves, socks, hats, and an emergency blankets) stuffed animals, etc. that help treat children’s unseen injuries—their emotional wounds. We also bring awareness to child abuse, PTSD, and suicide."
