What’s in a name? For Couldn't Be Happiers, the whole damn thing. This award-winning folk-rock/Americana duo enjoys every moment onstage together, and it’s pretty contagious. Described as “Violent Femmes meets Johnny and June,” this songwriting duo puts on a live show that all but dares you not to enjoy yourself. Their original repertoire includes stories about the obsessive drive of a Bigfoot hunter, the misadventures of a plastic bag, and the end of the world from global warming.

Maidin’s music is a blend of acoustic and electronic sounds. Maidin is Irish-Gaelic for "morning" pronounced my-din". Fans of Madison Cunningham, Bon Iver, and Joni Mitchell, feel at home in her vivid emotional landscapes. Her lyrics dwell on a lifelong obsession with nature and the existential crises that a love of the outdoors tends to inspire. This year, she was selected as the Hudson West Fest Emerging Artist, and has been making waves on various independent radio stations. Her newest EP is scheduled for release early 2026.

Hank Stone was born and raised in Queens, between Idlewild Airport and Aqueduct Racetrack. He picked up guitar before the Beatles hit the airwaves, and started to write songs soon afterwards. He played in rock bands before quitting public performance to raise a family, but never stopped writing. As an empty-nester, he hit the Long Island open mic and folk scenes about 25 years ago and has since acquired a reputation as a prolific and varied songwriter, also no slouch on the guitar.
