On TS Eliot and The Making of our Prufrock Ballet: Matt Torney and Diane in Conversation​

Join choreographer Diane Coburn Bruning, and director Matt Torney as they look back at how the initial idea evolved into the dark and brilliant dance performance.  Matt and Diane will discuss their love for the poem, how they mined it for unique and compelling imagery, how they worked with composer James Bigbee Garver, and how the incredible company of dancers helped complete the work. The evening will include readings from Prufrock, The preludes, and the Wasteland, as well as process demonstrations from Matt and Diane and samples from the score.
