Join us at the Halifax Central Library for the launch of the On to Ottawa Peace Caravan 2024. From Vancouver and Halifax, we will be converging in Ottawa, bringing our resistance and insistance for peaceful solutions to conflict and a demilitarized , sustainable economy. The caravan is co-sponsored by the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom and the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace.
In Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Voice of Women for Peace is taking the lead taking our message of demilitarize, decarbonize and decolonize to meetings and discussions en route. We'll share and spark discussion with our collective art pieces and film shorts - and yes, music will be lifting our spirits in this resistance to violence in a world that needs all of us to work for peace!
At this event, you'll have the chance to meet like-minded individuals, hear inspiring speakers, watch " Debunk Debert " and learn more about the mission of the Peace Caravan.
