About this Event

Learn how to print and paste a wallpaper with Foundation Press.

In the spirit of our current exhibition BUILDING, our new programme of activities encourage our visitors to connect with the process of building and making and get hands-on with live projects in our galleries.

In these workshops, with Foundation Press, we will skip to the end of the construction process, thinking about the surfaces which adorn spaces once they are built, creating wallpapers for our galleries, experimenting with different printing techniques and collage processes. Participants will have an active role in shaping our exhibition, with these initial prints marking the beginning of a printed wallpaper which will continue to grow through the run of the exhibition.

What to expect

Learn new skills: Foundation Press will guide us through a range of techniques, including wood Block and Rubber Stamp Printing.

Contribute to our exhibition: This is an opportunity to leave your mark on our exhibition and inspire others, with your print becoming a part of our exhibition wallpaper.

Create unique prints to take home: As well as creating our exhibition wallpaper you will create an individual print to take home with you.
