Rissi Palmer made history in 2007 with her debut single "Country Girl," becoming the first Black woman to chart on Billboard’s Hot Country chart in two decades. She's released three acclaimed albums, including Revival, named one of Rolling Stone’s top country-soul albums. Palmer hosts Color Me Country Radio on Apple Music and founded a grant fund supporting artists of color. Featured in PBS’s American Masters, she’s performed at the White House, Grand Ole Opry, and more. A trailblazer in Country and Americana, she continues to tour, serve as a CMT correspondent, and is a Governor of the Recording Academy Nashville.
