Capitol City Opera Company is hosting our annual fundraiser On the Light Side on September 27 and 28, at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta. Capitol City Opera will present “A Night at the Tony's,” a celebration of the iconic musicals that won best musical at the Tony Awards, on Friday and Saturday night. The event includes a silent auction with a bring your own “indoor picnic,” as well as other activities. The silent auction includes donations of goods & services donated from the community to help support Capitol City Opera Company, a local community opera company with mainstage productions at Oglethorpe University, monthly performances at Petite Violette, private performances in patron’s homes, and an opera outreach program for children.
