From May 2–28, award-winning fibre artist Gail Heinze will be showcasing her latest body of work, “On the Brink,” at Art 1274 Hollis Gallery. This collection brings our attention to Nova Scotia’s landscapes in peril, and proceeds will go to the Ecology Action Centre. Gail's work embodies beauty and fragility, using wool fibres, silks, cottons and up-cycled fabrics to capture our natural world with bold colours and 3D effects. Please join us at the opening reception on Saturday, May 4 from 3-5 p.m.
