๐ฅ๐"In 1982 I was at a Lama Foundation in New Mexico & encountered a Pueblo Elder called Teles 'Good Morning', he felt connected with me & took me under his wing.
๐ฅ๐"I was a member of The Native American Church which uses Peyote as a Sacred Sacrement.
๐ฅ๐"I will be speaking about this Indigenous Church and its Ceremonies & our friendship.
๐ฅ๐"Later I connected to a sweat lodge close to Santa Fe led by an Apache who had adopted Lakota ways. His tribe was virtually wiped out & doesn't have tribal status.
๐ฅ๐"Lakota folk would pass through & I befriended an elder & this began a deep and fruitful connection and the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota.
๐ฅ๐"I will talk about my many visits to the reservation and my introduction to the Sacred Pipe Ceremony (Chanupa) and all it has meant to me.

TIME: please arrive from 6.45pm-ish for a 7pm-sharp start.
Tea, coffee and delightful chat provided from 8.30pm til finish at 9pm.
KOHA: $5 koha appreciated to contribute to venue hire and refreshments.
If you don't have a spare $5 that week - that's fine, any contribution is appreciated - and the most important thing is to bring your beautiful self.
However, if you would like to contribute MORE than $5, that would also be appreciated as some meetings we don't quite cover costs.
