Description

Go behind the scenes of ’s 46-hour durational performance in the same place in a conversation with Truax and ONE Archives curator Alexis Bard Johnson. They will discuss the ideas, research, and preparation behind the work, including Truax’s commitment to a queer feminist performance practice that emphasizes risk, vulnerability, connection, and possibility. The conversation will conclude with an audience Q&A, giving attendees the chance to engage directly with the artist and continue exploring questions raised by the work.

This talkback is part of a month-long residency with durational performance artist Raegan Truax at ONE Archives that explores themes of power, connection, exhaustion, and embodiment. The residency will also include archival research, a student workshop, a durational performance, and an exhibition at ONE Archives.
