This summer, more than 75 young performers from across Greater New Orleans will take center stage at the World Premiere of ON DA BLOCK! A high-energy hip-hop musical celebrating youth, culture, family, and community.

ON DA BLOCK! is written by Anthony Bean, choreographed by Real Washington, and powered by original music from Mecca Notes. Together, the creative team blends the heartbeat of New Orleans with contemporary hip-hop culture to create a theatrical experience unlike anything audiences have seen before.

" Gives young people a chance to tell their own stories through music, dance, comedy, and spoken word,” said playwright and director Anthony Bean. “This production celebrates the dreams, challenges, and resilience of New Orleans youth while reminding us that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and valued.”
