On Being Jewish Now: Live (New York)

Join us on April 5, 2025, from 10 am - 5 pm for an inspiring day of thought-provoking panels, lunch, a book fair, and a screening plus talk-back of the documentary “October 8.” Notable authors, activists, and thought leaders, both Jewish and non-Jewish, will discuss how to end antisemitism and the strengths of the Jewish community. 

The event will feature novelist and Barnes & Noble pick Susan Rieger, New Yorker contributor David Denby, bookstore owner Fran Hauser, author and podcast host Vanessa Kroll Bennett, fashion designer Shoshanna Gruss, founder of the Golda lifestyle brand Stephanie Butnick, media host Shirin Yadegar, plus a talk-back with producer/director Wendy Sachs after the screening of “October 8.”

A light lunch will be served.
