About the exhibition:
"On Assignment: Dallas Times Herald 1963 is an immersive exhibition that places visitors inside the newsroom during one of the most consequential weekends in American history. Through the work of Dallas Times Herald reporters and photographers, the exhibition traces the rapid shift from routine presidential coverage to national crisis. Original photographs, handwritten field notes, press credentials and Pulitzer Prize–winning imagery reveal how local journalists documented the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in real time—balancing urgency, accuracy and responsibility under extraordinary pressure." Visit jfk.org for more details.
