ON and ON - Dancical

ON AND ON: A New Dancical Experience
What happens when the body becomes part of the dialogue?
In ON AND ON, dance isn’t an interruption between scenes or something added to a musical number. Movement is part of the storytelling itself. Characters can begin a thought with words, carry it through song, and when neither can say what needs to be said, the dancers take over. They become the emotion, the conflict, the memory, and sometimes even the words the characters cannot speak.
That’s the Dancical.
Set in the 1970s and powered by the timeless music of Curtis Mayfield, ON AND ON follows Ruby, Cal, their family, and a community navigating love, struggle, survival, and a system that can make simply holding a family together a fight.
Experience powerful actors, incredible singers, the soulful Corner Boys, THE VOICE, and dancers who don’t just dance around the story. They help TELL it.
This is theater with heart.
Theater with soul.
Theater that MOVES.
