This beginner-friendly genealogy workshop is designed specifically for individuals from the diaspora who want to reconnect with their family history, culture, and ancestral stories.
In this session, you’ll learn practical, accessible ways to start your journey. We’ll explore how to gather information from family members, navigate historical challenges like migration and name changes, and use online tools and records to trace your lineage across borders.
This workshop also acknowledges the unique experiences of diaspora communities, including gaps in records, displacement, and oral traditions, offering thoughtful strategies to work around these challenges with confidence.
