OMLA hands-on Locksmith workshop is scheduled for as long as we have five students. This all day class will be almost 100% hands on with no lecture except for instructions. It will include the following topics:
-Advanced Picking and Impressioning
-Advanced Rekeying including Master Keying
-Installing and Rekeying a Kwikset Lock
-Installing and Rekeying a Kwikset SmartLock with Touchpad
Students will have a display allowing them to practice all of the above skills on various skill levels in addition to the new topics. Class will be between 6 and 8 hours with lunch included.
Fee for this class is $300 paid to OMLA. This is the only class OMLA offers to satisfy the 8 hour experience requirement for a manager’s license.
