After completing her degree in musicology, she dedicated herself mainly to her true calling, singing. She was selected for the additional choirs of the Théâtre de la Monnaie and performed professionally as a soloist in several choirs under the direction of haute-contre Vincent Recolin, composers and choir conductors Gilles Gobert and Samir Mendimered, as well as with André Vandenbosch and Guy Jansens. Her repertoire includes baroque works by Purcell, Bach, and Handel, as well as major oratorios by Haydn and more romantic pieces, such as Strauss’s Four Last Songs, which she approaches with a different technique and style. She also works on German and Finnish lieder as well as French melodies.
She possesses a wide repertoire of Hungarian Gypsy songs, which she performs either a cappella, with piano accompaniment, or even with a full Gypsy orchestra.
Piroska Visnyei, together with pianist Pierre Droeshaut and violinist István Droeshaut, created the group "Les sons que nous sommes" (The Sounds That We Are), where they improvise as a trio, in duo, as soloists, or with other improvising musicians.

Jean Michel Van Schouwburg improvising singer from Brussels region.
Has developped a large voice - mouth - throat musical & sound techniques and music since the nineties. Throat singing, overtones, jodels, mouth sounds, almost 3 octaves, falsettos, multiphonics and invented languages. Groups : Sureau with bass player Jean Demey and percussionnist Kris Vanderstraeten. MouthWind with Lawrence Casserley, live signal processing TRIO 876 with Marcello Magliocchi percussion & Matthias Boss violin + Jean Demey bass. Sverdrup Balance w Casserley & Yoko Miura piano Duos w Adam Bohman- w Sabu Toyozumi- w Audrey Lauro w John Russell. I Belong to The Band with Oli Mayne Adam Bohman and Zsolt Sörès. Has worked with Adelheid Sieuw, Mike Goyvaerts, John Russell, Phil Wachsmann, Gianni Mimmo, composer Dario Palermo, Paul Hubweber, Katalin Ladik, Nils Gerold & Mano Kinze, Pascal Marzan, Klaus Kürvers, Ivo Perelman....
Work with Berberian Sound Studio movie director Peter Strickland as acting his own singer persona , J-M VS. Berberian Sound Studio was awarded and was featured in many festivals as the UK cult movie 2012.
Has organized +200 improv concerts in Brussels since 2000...
Holding voice workshop in many cities (Turin , Budapest, Liverpool, Nitra, Brussels)with his own techniques and conductions.
Writes in Improjazz (F) Jazzaround (B) and in his own Orynx-Improvandsounds.blogspot.com
Performed in Belgium, France, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Holland, Scotland in festivals, galeries, clubs, concerts and movie festivals.

Belgo-polish vocalist and videographer. Active in the Brussels free music scene, he regularly collaborates with Lazara Rosell Albear, Sofia Kakouri, Guillaume Maupin, Audrey Lauro, Jan Pillaert and Peter Jacquemyn notably in the avant-garde art collective The Art Ensemble of Brussels.
He's also part of a free blues duo alongside Valentin Becmann.
