Part of the 2024 Cambridge Jazz FestivalOmar – one of the UK’s greatest soul legends of modern times, whose debut hit ‘There is Nothing Like This’, topped the UK Charts launching a career that then took him global. Since then he has gone on to release 8 albums, and collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Angie Stone, Syreeta Wright, Common and Carleen Anderson.
Omar teams up with his decade-long partnership of QCBA, featuring the outstanding trumpet player Quentin Collins and the tenor sax titan Brandon Allen, for an intoxicating musical cocktail of jazz, R&B, funk and soul.
QCBA are an organ driven quartet of virtuosos known for their funky and contemporary original music. Influenced by the great Blue Note era of the 60s, they’ve taken the jazz scene by storm with their eclectic collaborations.
Omar + QCBA return to headline the Cambridge Jazz Festival after their sold out show in 2022. Not to be missed!
