Omaha is set on May 25, 1972, the day of the Joe Frazier vs. Ron Stander heavyweight championship fight in Omaha, Nebraska.

As the whole city buzzes with excitement over their hometown hero's shot at the title, the Palensky family faces a day of unexpected chaos: a failed job interview, a fight on the radio, a found wallet, and a run-in with a most unlikely stranger. A warm, funny, and deeply human play about family, class, pride, and what it means to do the right thing.
