Olympia Rhythm and Drum Circle

This practice promotes social connection, mindfulness, and creative expression. Therapeutically, drum circles can reduce stress, enhance mood, and boost emotional well-being by encouraging deep relaxation. The rhythmic drumming has been shown to improve coordination, stimulate cognitive function, and foster a sense of community. It can also serve as an outlet for emotional release, helping individuals process feelings and cultivate a deeper connection to themselves and others.

What to Expect:

Rhythm practice, drum circle, and closing ceremony.

Whether you're new or experienced, this class offers a nurturing space for empowerment and healing.

What to Bring:

Comfortable attire, an instrument, a yoga mat or cushion, and an open heart. **Anything that makes sound can be used as an instrument, so feel free to get creative! The goal is to contribute to the communal rhythm. We will have extra hand drums for you to play if an instrument is not accessible for you.

Example of drums: djembe, hand drum, pots, pans, buckets, rattles, tambourines, sticks etc.
