"Breathing new life into the Olympia Dance Community :) thank you Soul Cafe and thank you Dance Coop for being ready to evolve and grow! This theme of “Conscious Evolution” is inspired by the technology of ecstatic dance itself : this way of free form expression, connection, and emotional release has been hugely transformative to my life, catalyzing so much growth, embodiment, and liberation within my bodymindsoul… dance & music is medicine and we are overflowing with inspirations on how best to serve these medicines! Soul Cafe Wednesday Night Ecstatic Series is beginning! Eye will be playing 12/10/25 7-10pm and stay tuned for a special announcement for a 12/3 dance as well :) much love! 🕉️💙🧬🌀 "
Arrival begins at 7, opening circle at 7:15, music starts promptly at 7:30.
We end with an integrative sound bath and then closing circle, fully wrapped up by 10.
***This is a safe dance space that welcomes people of all ages, races, abilities, orientations, neuro-diversities, religious or political affiliations and economic statuses. Come as you are, and know that you will be welcome and held.
Cost is a sliding scale of $15-$20, with no one turned away for lack of funds.
PLEASE NOTE
We ask that dancers hold themselves accountable to our Four Agreements:
-I agree to not talk on the dance floor
-I agree to not be intoxicated
-I agree to own my dance and to respect others
-I agree to participate in my own dance, and not spectate others.
***The purpose of these last two agreements in particular is to create a container for expression where your dance can be for you and your own process, as long as you are also respecting others' space to have and do the same. There are no rules against witnessing others or being witnessed, or engaging each other through dance, as long as it is welcomed and consensual.***
