Beginning his career in 2015 with a few singles and his debut EP Mountains, Oliverse instantly gained support from some of the Dubstep world’s biggest names. Notorious Canadian Dubstep artist Excision, founder of renowned festival Lost Lands (Ohio), played Oliverse’s ‘Wormholes’ track regularly for over a year, putting the young artists’ name on the map.
In 2016, Oliverse remixed ‘Hold It Down’ from another major dubstep artist, Tisoki. His remix was supported by electronic music legend Skrillex for 2 years, reinforcing Oliverse’s’ presence in world class DJs’ playlists. He stepped into the spotlight with his throwback remix of Tchami’s smash ‘After Life’, which again gained heavy support from countless DJ’s worldwide. This resulted in UKF Music, a British reference in Bass music, signing the track and making it an official release. The original has clocked up 40 million plays on Spotify along with remix having reached 2 million+ plays across Spotify and Youtube.
A couple years later, Oliverse won a remix competition and saw his take on “Higher” by Modestep release on Monstercat, a highly respected Bass Music record label. Oliverse’s prolific music writing and hitmaking brought him to sign to American label Disciple Records in 2018. The same year Dubstep pioneer Rusko made a resonating return to the stage, performing in most of the biggest dance music festivals in the world and playing multiple Oliverse tracks per set. He has gone on to remix The Prototypes, Zomboy (reaching #5 on Beatport’s Dubstep Top 100 for over 2 months), Modestep, Emalkay, Dodge & Fuski, Delta Heavy, Zeds Dead and Koven.
In just a few years, Oliverse achieved great commercial success and in 2022, he had played most of Europe’s major events, including Tomorrowland Festival and Rampage Sportpaleis & Open Air (the biggest Dubstep celebration in the world) and mythical venues such as Fabric, Ministry of Sound or Maassilo. His August tour in Australia and New Zealand Tour was a massive success and before the pandemic hit us all, he did a mini headline tour in Japan which sold out!
2023 has seen multiple releases on disciple including a collab track with Tisoki which did over 100K play in under one week. In addition he played the large EDM festival Black List and Rampage at the world famous ADE.
Oliverse is globally respected and in demand for his signature hard yet melodic dubstep sound. He has gained a worldwide fan base, with listeners and chart rankings in all continents. He has shared stages with the likes of Getter, Skism and Doctor P, Virtual Riot, Modestep, Netsky, Gentlemen’s Club and Noisia. His music has been supported through the dance scene by artists such as Skrillex, Jauz, Flux Pavilion, Kayzo, Ille-nium, Zomboy, Zeds Dead, Pegboard, Nerds, Snails, Virtual Riot, Borgore, NGHTMRE and Slushii to name a few.
Throughout his career as Oliverse he has received airplay from BBC Radio 1 and had press from UKF Dubstep, YourEDM, Nest HQ (Skrillex’s Blog Im-print) and the EDM Podcast to list a few.
