One of the brightest new stars on TikTok’s BookTok platform, Oliver James will share his story of illiteracy, incarceration and using his social media platform to not only build his reading skills but combat illiteracy. His story is one of the most uplifting in the literary world: he taught himself to read at the age of 34 by leveraging TikTok.
This event is part of the Napa County Library Literacy Center's 40th Anniversary celebration and will take place in the Magazine Area.
