Chemeketa Community College presents Oliver! with Theatre Under The Stars. Members of the Salem Orchestra, theatre professionals, and industry leaders are working with students to present one of the most beloved musicals ever.
Performances will run every Tuesday throughout August from 8 pm to 10:30 pm. All are encouraged to bring low-profile lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics, and enjoy this first-ever musical production under the evening skies at the Gerry Frank Amphitheater in Salem, Oregon.
The performance will feature a full orchestra and cast of some of the best talent in the Willamette Valley. The production will be under the direction of Stephen Munshaw and choreographer Christopher Dean, the same team that produced A Christmas Story, Annie Get Your Gun, and James and the Giant Peach in Salem.
