While caring for Grandma (Lesley Ann Warren), Sam (Tom Koch) begins to question the nature of their relationship. What does a person with dementia want? When memory dissolves, what remains? Written/directed by Tom Koch. 13mins.
The program will feature a screening of the short film "Olive" followed by a clip compilation program of Ms. Warren's television and film roles (to date) followed by an on-stage conversation hosted by Author and Film Historian Foster Hirsch.
After winning Broadway’s “Most Promising Newcomer” Award at the age of 17, in the Broadway production 110 In the Shade, Lesley Ann Warren found stardom on the small screen in the title role of the legendary Rogers & Hammerstein’s musical adaptation of Cinderella. Her film debut was in Disney’s The Happiest Millionaire, but it was her brilliant performance in Blake Edwards’ comic masterpiece, Victor/Victoria, that won her nominations for an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe, as well as winning a New York Film Critics Award and a People’s Choice Award. Additionally, Warren received nominations for a Golden Globe for Songwriter, and a People’s Choice Award for Choose Me. Additional film credits include Bobby Moresco’s 10th and Wolf, Secretary, Steven Soderbergh’s The Limey, Clue, Burglar, Pure Country, Cop and Mel Brooks’ Life Stinks. Warren’s television credits include a Golden Globe Award for her Best Actress performance in the miniseries “79 Park Avenue.” She also was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her role in the CBS miniseries “Family of Spies.” Warren received a Cable Ace and Golden Globe nominations for her work in “Baja Oklahoma.” She also received a Cable Ace nomination for her work in Tennessee Williams’ “27 Wagons Full of Cotton.” Additional television credits include leading roles in the telefilm Evergreen and the Emmy winning miniseries “Joseph.” Her recurring television roles include a comedic tour de force opposite Sydney Pollack on the hit comedy “Will & Grace,” multiple seasons of “Desperate Housewives,” and most recently five seasons in the drama “In Plain Sight.” She has made appearances in “Community,” “Gigi Does It,” “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” “Blunt Talk,” “Daredevil,” “American Princess,” “Broke,” “All Rise,” the 100th episode of “Psych” with a tribute to the movie Clue, and most recently season eight of the hit show “9-1-1.” Currently, Ms. Warren can be seen in the critically acclaimed short film OLIVE, written and directed by Tom Koch, the feature films Home Delivery and Shadow Watchers, in a series regular role on “Panhandle” starring opposite Luke Kirby, “Echo Boomers” starring opposite Michael Shannon, and “3 Days with Dad” starring opposite J.K. Simmons.
Tom Koch is an actor & filmmaker based in New York. He grew up between France and London. His films have screened internationally and received awards, including a Silver Screen at the Young Director Award, Cannes 2025. His short film, OLIVE, was qualified for the 2026 Oscars. Tom founded Mes Films en Couleur. He is currently in pre-production of his next film, GOLDEN, the story of an underground fighter-turned-prostitute surviving NYC. He is a triple Virgo and loves to-do lists.
