Older Kids Improv Camp (Ages 11-15)

Hashtag Comedy’s Older Kids Improv Camp is a fun-filled, five-day experience designed to help older kids ages 11-15 build confidence, creativity, and teamwork, all while having a blast! Through engaging improv games and exercises, campers will develop quick thinking, active listening, and collaboration skills in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Improv is more than just comedy. It teaches valuable life skills like adaptability, problem-solving, and self-expression. Whether your child is outgoing or a little shy, this camp provides a welcoming space to explore their creativity, make new friends, and learn to think on their feet.

Taught by experienced improvisers and instructors Josh Waddle and Katie Drown, our camp encourages play, laughter, and positive risk-taking, all while fostering communication skills that will benefit kids in school and beyond.

Classes will take place June 15 - June 19th from 1 PM to 3PM. On the final day, campers will take the stage for a fun, low-pressure performance to showcase their new skills.

IMPORTANT INFO

• Age requirement: 11-15
• Parents are welcome to observe class.
• Parents and family are welcome to attend the private Friday Student Showcase. More details on come on that.
• Please enroll at least a week before the class begins. Courses that do not meet the instructor-set course minimum by the week before the start date may be at risk of cancellation.
• If the course is cancelled, tuition will be refunded.
• Students must abide by Hashtag Comedy’s community guidelines to remain in good standing within our educational programs.
• PARKING: Parking is available in the back of the Hashtag Theater space when spots are available. Free parking validation for said lot is available inside the theater. Drivers are responsible for validating their own parking.
• Photo & Video Notice: By attending this event, you understand that photos and videos may be taken and used by Hashtag Comedy for promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.). If you prefer not to appear in any photos or videos, just let a staff member know when you arrive. We’re happy to accommodate!
