The Long Bay Folk Society is always seeking mandolin, guitar, banjo, fiddle, dobro, upright bass and other acoustic players of all levels for our monthly jam. Come join a random collection of Old-Time and American Roots musicians playing a varied repertoire of fiddle tunes, old-time, bluegrass breakdowns, vintage country, jigs, reels, hornpipes, train songs, murder ballads, hillbilly boogie, swing, Appalachia, sweet waltzes, Americana ballads, campfire and folk songs.
We meet at Pavillion 3 at the North Beach Access.
We are a low key group of amateur players, so all levels are welcome. Open to other stringed acoustic instruments.
