Old school biker rodeo, games will include, The slow race, The barrel race, Needle in a haystack, The Cone race. Prizes, 50/50"s, Raffles, food, drinks. Proceeds to benefit The Veterans Enhancement Project.
The first motorcycle clubs were founded by veterans returning from war. Military members that came back from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan found it awkward and uncomfortable to talk about their experiences with people that either didn't serve or they didn't share a personal connection. There is one common thread that most veterans who ride motorcycles consistently say, “Riding a motorcycle is therapeutic, it calms me.” The Veteran Enhancement Project Inc. was founded to take action against veteran suicide, which claims the lives of 22 veterans a day.
Teach a valuable skill that could place them in a possible trade in the work force involving motorcycles and possibly sending them to a trade school. Assist veterans in need of motorcycle repair that cannot afford it to make the bike safe and reliable. Assist veterans with a battlefield inflicted handicap, to be able to ride again and cannot afford the modifications to their bike. Provide assistance with Veteran Affairs care and treatment for veteran issues. Provide the brotherhood and comradery of working and healing together
