Old Pueblo Playwrights’ 2023 New Play Festival will be held in the intimate Cabaret Theatre upstairs at the Temple of Music and Art in Tucson's downtown Arts District.
Tonight, OPP will present Liisa Rose's BURN SCAR.
The playwright considers how far one should go to protect family secrets in this compelling tragedy, which examines a long-forgotten house fire—and its associated guilt and forgiveness—through the lens of an aging mother’s recent Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
Joanne Anderson directs Sydney Flynn as ELIZA, Maggie Guzman as LIBBY, Ellie Vought as THERESA, David Youngerman as JOSEPH), and TBA as YOUNG THERESA.
