31 years ago, this film hit theaters with little to no commercial success. Over the years it became a cult classic. In recent years it has been labeled as “problematic” by some due to its take on the overreach of Political Correctness and the oversensitivity in our political and social discourse. This makes it a perfect movie to examine in 2025.
