Hosted by the Marathon County Historical Society, this engaging experience blends local lore, historic architecture, and Wisconsin’s favorite cocktail.You’ll explore iconic buildings and hidden stories from Wausau’s past, including:
The Juliette (Plier Grocery Store) – Learn about Carl Plier and the evolution of this local business hub.
Peking (Hotel Wausau) – Discover the story of Walter Schroeder and the hotel’s architectural transformation.
Malarkey’s (Mayer-Lotz Building) – Uncover tales of Prohibition, the Great Depression, and more.
