Alright lads and lasses,Finally got around to making this event, expecting to die but here is the itinerary. Hope to finally have some members back for a big social so looking forward to a heavy weekend with the sweet sweet taste of snakebite once again.
Friday - Meet at Gards at 1pm for some drinks before the meal which is in the classic attire of shirt and tie for men’s or ‘something nice’ for the women. The meal is at Level at 6pm from which we can fall into Piper for a few before we head to town. Last bus is at 11:00 in which songs can be sung in true karaoke fashion. Can see if the currents can actually still perform.
Saturday - We have booked the pitches behind the 3G for the men’s game at 12pm with women’s after. Teams will be currents and members that left last year against the veterans who still turn up trying to relive their youth. Social will be in Piper on the Saturday of course 7pm for 7:30 start. Men’s as always will be re-suited in their shots from the night before and club ties with women’s as cow girls. Then back to town to try out the gay bars that everyone knows and loves. Sadly we can’t give it some welly as it no longer opens on a Saturday.
Sunday - Head to Spoons or a full English and bid our fond farewells in the hopes that the club will survive another year until we meet again.
