//WHEN//
Saturday, October 22nd, 1pm-10pm
//WHAT//
? Welcome to OKTOBURN, a day-into-night delight on the Bay.
? Expect chill spaces, energetic performances, live art, fire spinning and other unexpected happenings.
? Black Star Pirate BBQ and Crookedgrind Coffee will have plentiful offerings of sustenance.
? Quench your bottomless thirst for BASS with our bone-rattling Danley sound system!
//WHO//
? Shake the dust off and drop into community with your favorite rabble-rousers, mischievous mates, future friends and chosen family.
? We’ll have DJ’s, musicians and a menagerie of incorrigible weirdos representing a clowder of the Bay Area camps you know and love.
//WHERE//
? Point San Pablo Harbor is a brand-new, outdoor arts community and venue run by a collective of longtime community members.
? PSPH is tucked in a private cove just north of Point Richmond on the San Francisco Bay with zero light pollution (read: EPIC sunsets), miles from the nearest neighbors (except for the pygmy goats that live at the property entrance).
? The visionaries behind the space have partnered with non-profit We Are From Dust to bring big playa art to a permanent home to be enjoyed well into the future.
?You’ll recognize pieces such as La Victrola, Niloticus, Too Bee or Not to Too Bee and more.
? We are thrilled to invite you all to what will be the first of many joyful gatherings on this property. It must be seen in person as photos do not do it justice!
? Drive time is 30 minutes from Oakland, 45 minutes from SF.
//WHY//
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro ?
//GET INVOLVED//
? Making mirth is more fun with more friends. Your participation will contribute to the future lore of the OKTOBURN.
? Keep an eye out for volunteer/artist/performer applications and e-mail [email protected] with any questions.
