Join the School Sisters of St. Francis for a German-inspired “Oktoberfest” celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, in the St. Joseph Center Garden at 29th Street and Orchard Street in Milwaukee.The event will include outdoor games, delicious food, and craft beers from Lakefront Brewery. Food options will include a German-style bratwurst plate, BBQ chicken sandwich plate, and hot pretzels.
Beverage offerings will include the sisters’ famous “Ale Mary” and “Our Lager” beers as well as a special Oktoberfest brew. Beer and root beer will be served in a commemorative glass stein that will be a wonderful keepsake of our 150th anniversary Oktoberfest!
To make this an authentic German Oktoberfest experience, we’ll have live polka music throughout the day. Other features include a 50/50 raffle; imports for sale; and our famous homemade bakery available for a donation.
