Raise Your Steins! 🍻
One of Itasca’s favorite fall traditions is almost here! Now in its 18th year, Oktoberfest continues to be a celebration of community while supporting local charities, including the Itasca Walk-In Ministry and Food Pantry.
This year’s celebration will feature returning favorites and new ways to join the fun:
• Stein Holding Contest 🍺
Think you have what it takes? Test your strength during the Oktoberfest Stein Holding Contest and compete to see who can hold a full stein the longest.
• Racetrack Experience 🏁
Courtesy of Wintrust Itasca, challenge your family and friends on Prime Time Racing's stock car racing simulator. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Itasca Food Pantry and receive a ticket to race.
• German Food & Music 🥨
Renate's German Restaurant will be serving traditional favorites including spaetzle, schnitzel, wurst, pork roast, and sauerkraut while live entertainment keeps the celebration going throughout the weekend.
📅 Friday, September 11ᵗʰ | 5:00 – 10:30 p.m.
The weekend begins with the tapping of the first keg with Mayor Pruyn at 5:00 p.m., followed by Alpine Thunder Band from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.
📅 Saturday, September 12ᵗʰ | 3:00 – 10:30 p.m.
