Oktoberfest on the Block – Hosted by OutSpoken Brewing

OutSpoken Brewing, the original hosts of Oktoberfest in Sault Ste. Marie, are back — and we’re shutting down Queen Street between Elgin and Bruce on Saturday, September 27th for the Soo’s biggest and most authentic Oktoberfest celebration!

From 2PM until 12AM, join us for a full day and night of beer, food, music, games, and Bavarian-style block party vibes under the open sky.

The street will be alive with performances from:

Tom Peer
Nein German Guys (authentic polka set!)
Lucy’s Diner
Flummoxx Music (closing the night with a DJ set!)

Games, Competitions & Prizes

Step up and take part in festival favorites, including:

Stein-holding contest
Wife-carrying relay
Tug of war
Cornhole, pickup basketball, giant Jenga & more
Face Painting

Winners will score instant prizes like free beer and gift cards, plus entries into our big prize draw featuring larger physical prizes — including Foreigner concert tickets generously donated by The Fox Radio.

Food & Drink

OutSpoken Brewing will be serving up a full Oktoberfest-inspired menu, including:

Bratwursts
Homemade schnitzel
Potato pancakes
Fresh pretzels
House-made sauerkraut

And to round things out, we’ll also have vendors on site, including Hogan’s Homestead, Home Bakehouse, as well as an instant photobooth hosted by Sam Dechamplain Photography!

Beer, Cocktails & Community

We’re licensing the entire block so you can enjoy OutSpoken craft beer and specialty cocktails at long Oktoberfest-style tables with family, friends, and festival-goers all day and night.

Queen Street, between Elgin & Bruce, In front of Outspoken Brewing, Downtown Sault Ste. Marie

This event is open to all ages! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Colour coded wristbands will be in effect for those under the age of 19 years old. All event staff reserves the right to verify identification at any point, for the duration of the event.

OutSpoken Brewing brought Oktoberfest to the Soo — and now we’re taking it to the streets in the biggest way yet. Don’t miss the tradition, the music, the food, and the beer that started it all. Prost!
