The 2026 Oklahoma Beef Ambassador competition will be held at the OK Farm Bureau offices on Friday, June 26th starting at 9a.m. This is a statewide competition open to all Oklahoma youth from grades 5th – 12th with scholarships and prizes to the 1st-3rd place winners in each age group. The address is 2501 N. Stiles Avenue, OKC. You can pre-register for this event at https://okcattlewomen.org/Oklahoma-Beef-Ambassadors.Goal: Create, promote and help shape youth advocates who will further their knowledge of beef education and consumer interaction.
Competition: There will be two mock interactions.
1. Media – The contestant will participate in a mock media interview. The interviewer will ask pre-determined questions with the option to ask follow-up questions. A panel of judges will observe the interaction for knowledge, articulation, poise and the contestant’s ability to explain beef production and present the beef community in a positive manner.
2. Peer – A staged conversation between contestant and his/her peers which includes beef production and/or nutrition. A panel of judges will observe each contestant on their ability to relay to their peers appropriate and accurate information regarding beef community, production and nutrition.
Age Categories:
Senior Contestants: Current grade 9th -12th
Junior Contestants: Current grade 5th -8th
Scholarship Awards:
Senior Division:
1st place - $1,000.00
2nd place - $775.00
3rd place - $600.00
Junior Division:
1st place - $700.00
2nd place - $575.00
3rd place - $450.00
