The event will start with members of the Okanagan Urban Sketchers sharing their passion for urban sketching, followed by demonstrations, art showcases, and discussions of essential techniques and materials.
We’ll then move across the street to the library's shaded overhang, where participants can create their own urban sketches of the vibrant Opus storefront. With its dynamic colours and architectural angles, the scene offers a great opportunity to capture urban life, including the challenge of sketching people in motion.
You’ll have 60 minutes to work on your sketches before returning to share your creations and discuss your artistic experiences. Plus, everyone who attends will receive a 10% discount on the day of the event at Opus!
