The ARRL has deemed 2026 "The Year of the Club", and the North Okaloosa, Eglin Amateur Radio Service & the Playground Amateur Radio Clubs wish to formally invite you to our Annual Holiday Party! Come one, come all!
YOU MUST EMAIL YOUR ACTIVITIES DIRECTORS to ensure you have been counted as attending! John N8JDD for NOARC, Queenie KQ4FRB for PARC.
There will be awards given from organizations honoring their chosen Ham of the Year, and (as always) there will be a White Elephant gift exchange! [$25 limit on family appropriate gifts] All you need to do to participate is be there with a wrapped [family appropriate] gift! Funny gifts, home décor, books, etc., and don't forget: THESE GIFTS NEED NOT BE HAM-RELATED. Please refrain from including alcoholic beverages as your gifts, as not everyone partakes or is of age. We want to ensure that all involved are able to enjoy any gift that is exchanged! Bring your friends and family and let's celebrate another year of fun, friendship, family, and HAM RADIO.
We are being hosted by Basil & Baxter's in Niceville this year, with a curated menu just for us, and their staff will be providing us with individual family checks, and a relaxing evening to enjoy our jovial festivities! Please contact your club's Activities Directors for more info, and don't forget to select "Going" on the RSVP to this event!! We must know who will be in attendance to ensure the restaurant can properly prepare for our arrival!
