Love stories? Then you will LOVE Tulsa's Best Storyteller Competition where you will hear some of the best storytellers in Oklahoma tell TRUE (funny, serious, sad, harrowing, interesting) stories about their lives.
Our previous monthly winners, 10 in all, will compete in a friendly competition for the 10th ANNUAL "BEST STORYTELLER IN TULSA". Each storyteller will have 6 minutes to wow the audience with a compelling and interesting true snippet of their lives based on the evening’s theme ~ GAME CHANGER
A Story Slam is a live storytelling competition organized by Ok, So Tulsa. No notes are allowed and stories must be told, not read. Monthly events are held at Living Arts on the 2nd Thursday or Friday of each month and monthly winners compete in the “Grand Slam”. Participants are judged by a panel of writers, literary figures, and other slammers from around Tulsa to determine a winner for 2024. This is the 10th Annual Crowning of Tulsa’s Best Storyteller.
